RJ: Curves and arches are a design trend currently, how did you envision the Ripple to stand out?
KT: Fluted designs are very on-trend at the moment, however, we wanted to incorporate this into our range in a way that would transcend the trend cycles. To create cohesion and unity, the curved body of the products is reflected in its rippled surface. In line with our signature style, we used solid European oak throughout the pieces, which makes them perfect for creating a relaxed yet refined space. The Ripple was created for those looking to introduce texture and shape into their home with a subtle statement.
Storage was a key factor when designing the Ripple Sideboard and Entertainment Unit as I wanted these pieces to work for the everyday entertainer. It was essential to me to include a combination of drawers and shelves on the sideboard to ensure that the customer was never short on storage space. The Ripple Entertainment Unit follows these same principles and also includes an open storage shelf to not only lighten up the piece but to act as a display area for your coffee table books and homewares.
