Spring Styling, Without Starting Over
September 07 2026 | Nikki Requiero
Every season brings a shift in light, and with it, a shift in how a room feels. Spring styling doesn't call for a full refresh. It's a handful of considered changes, a lighter palette, a softer texture or a little more colour, that let a room settle into the new season while everything else stays exactly as it is.
A New Season, a Refreshed Space
Spring changes the light before it changes anything else. Rooms that felt right through winter can start to feel heavy once the days brighten. It doesn't take a full renovation to bring a room back into balance. A softer palette, a change in texture or one new piece in the right spot is often enough.
Refresh, Don't Reinvent
A room rarely needs to be pulled apart to feel new again. One new occasional chair, a side table or a sculptural object placed well can shift how a room reads, while everything else stays exactly as it is. Bring in greenery and organic shapes to round out the change and let a little of the outdoors in.
