Chest of Drawers & Dressers
Unwind effortlessly through chest of drawers & dressers, easygoing style that lasts.
How many drawers do you need?
Start with how you store clothes rather than how much you own. If you fold jumpers, jeans and linen, fewer deeper drawers work better, which is what our 3 drawer chests are built for. If you would rather separate socks, underwear and accessories into their own drawers, a 6 drawer chest gives you that, usually with shallower drawers on top and deeper ones below.
Here is the part that surprises people: at RJ Living the 3 drawer chests are the taller pieces, standing 89cm to 90cm high and 106cm to 130cm wide. Our 6 drawer chests are wider but lower, 125cm to 150cm across and 75cm to 86cm high. So if you need the top of the chest to sit under a window or a mirror, a 6 drawer is often the better fit despite holding more.
Measure the wall before you choose, allow room for a drawer to pull out, and check drawer depth against what you plan to put in it. Everything here is solid oak or oak veneer over a timber base. For a matched bedroom, our chests pair with the same ranges in bedside tables, bed frames and bed heads.
| Type | Drawers | Our Size Range | Best For |

| 5 drawer chest | 5 | 65cm W, 110cm H | Extra separation without the width of a 6 drawer |
| 6 drawer chest | 6, usually shallow on top and deeper below | 125 to 150cm W, 75 to 86cm H | Sorting smaller items separately, and sitting under a window or mirror |
| Tallboy | 4, taller narrower shape | 40cm W, 108cm H | Maximising storage where floor space is tight |
