A popular material due to its durability and ease of manipulation. Rattan is similar to bamboo and ranges in density, pliability, and color. Like bamboo, rattan is a durable and robust vine that can grow as a climbing or non-climbing palm mostly found in the lush rainforests of Southeast Asia. There are many varieties but most of them have fanning green leaves and spikes that protect the stalk of the vine.

Rattan’s versatility and durability in furniture pieces can elevate your space and brings about grace and playfulness in a room. It has breathability and organic form not usually seen in other materials and rattan is also sustainable to farm.

Great sideboard
Great quality sideboard. I was a worried ordering online but it is heavy & sturdy. It was delivered well packed to avoid damage & you only need to attach the legs and door handles with the provided Alan key. Doors are a little hard to open as the magnets are really strong.
The only downside was delivery & communication. The delivery time was moved twice meaning ‘10-12 weeks’ became 16, and then the actual delivery people turned up without notice. Luckily I was home.
